My Journey in Education and Entrepreneurship
My professional journey began in 1996 as a Mathematics Teacher at Sri Tagore High School, followed by St. Paul’s High School, where I dedicated my experience to teaching, mentoring, and shaping young minds. Throughout my teaching career, I had the privilege of guiding thousands of students towards academic excellence and successful futures.
In 2005, I embarked on a new chapter by establishing GEMS HIGH SCHOOL, where I proudly serve as the Founder and Director. The year holds a special place in my heart, as it marked both the birth of my beloved daughter and the beginning of my entrepreneurial journey. With the blessings of God, the support of my family, and the trust of parents and well-wishers, what began as a dream has grown into a successful educational institution with over 22 years of commitment to education.
Driven by my passion for learning and my desire to share my experience with intermediate-level students, I further expanded my educational vision by joining five partners to establish SRI VIGNANI VGRM's VIT ACADEMY. Together, we aim to provide quality education, encourage academic excellence, and create brighter career opportunities for students.
Today, I consider myself truly blessed to have progressed from a Mathematics Teacher to an educational entrepreneur, having contributed to the growth and development of more than 4,000 students and leading a dedicated team of over 100+ staff members. My journey continues to be guided by faith, perseverance, and a commitment to empowering future generations. For me, every student is a success story, every milestone is a blessing, and every new opportunity is a chance to make a meaningful difference in the lives of others.
With the Blessings of Our Parents
My father, a retired Air Force serviceman, dedicated nearly 42 years of his life to serving with commitment and discipline at Suryalanka Air Force Station, travelling approximately 24 kilometres every day by bicycle, from early morning until evening, with unwavering determination to secure a better future for our family. Despite the hardships and sacrifices, he never hesitated to work tirelessly to provide my brother and me with the opportunities to achieve greater heights in life. My mother, a homemaker, has been the backbone of our family, managing our household, carefully handling finances, maintaining family values, and taking responsibility for our upbringing with endless love and dedication. While my father worked hard to build our future, my mother ensured that our family remained strong, united, and well-guided through every stage of life. Today, with their unconditional love, sacrifices, and blessings, I feel privileged to stand in a position where I can contribute to society as a Director and provide quality education and meaningful opportunities to thousands of students.
